Who we are
At the Alexandria Community Center (ACC), our mission is to strengthen the bonds of neighborhood and community by providing meaningful programs and services that make Alexandria a great place to call home. We are proud to offer a variety of initiatives that support local families, foster youth development, and create a space where everyone feels welcome.
Each year, over 500 children participate in our youth programs—including football, soccer, basketball, track, cheerleading, art, science, and more—building skills, confidence, and connections that last a lifetime. Through our Baby Pantry and referral services, we provide critical support to families in need, including access to diapers, food, formula, and energy assistance.
Our facility also serves as a hub for community-wide events, hosting everything from Leadership of Madison County activities to Alexandria Community School functions. As a designated Disaster Relief site, we stand ready to support our neighbors during times of crisis, and regularly serve as a blood drive location.
With zero government funding, the ACC relies on the generosity and involvement of our community. You can help by donating supplies, contributing financially, volunteering your time or talents, or renting our space for your next event. Every gift—big or small—helps us continue our mission to serve, uplift, and empower those around us.
The ACC is a 501(c)(3) organization, and all donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Together, we can inspire the next generation and build a stronger Alexandria for all.
